Typical prices
| Service | Typical UK price (2026) |
|---|---|
| Regular contract cleaning (per cleaner hour) | £18 to £30 |
| Central London contract cleaning (per cleaner hour) | £20 to £35 |
| Small office, 2 hours once a week (per month) | £150 to £250 |
| Small office, 2 hours three times a week (per month) | £450 to £700 |
| Five days a week, 2 hours a day (per month) | £800 to £1,200 |
| One-off deep clean, small office (around 100 m²) | £200 to £400 |
| One-off deep clean, medium office (around 250 m²) | £400 to £800 |
| Carpet extraction cleaning (per m²) | £2.50 to £4.50 |
These are typical guide prices. Your actual price depends on the floor area, how many washrooms and kitchens there are, how often you want cleaning, the time of day and where the office is.
What affects the price
- Floor area and layout, including number of floors and meeting rooms
- Number of washrooms, kitchens and breakout areas
- Frequency of visits and length of each visit
- Time of day, with early, late and weekend work sometimes costing more
- Floor types, as carpet and hard floors need different equipment
- Whether consumables such as toilet roll and soap are supplied
- Periodic tasks such as carpet extraction and high-level dusting
Hourly rate or fixed monthly price?
Most contractors work out the price from the hours needed, then quote a fixed monthly figure. A fixed monthly price is easier to budget for, but make sure it is tied to a written specification so you know which tasks are included on each visit.
How to get an accurate price
Send the approximate floor area, the number of staff, washrooms and kitchens, the floor types and how often you want cleaning. A floor plan or a few photos are usually enough for a fixed price.
